MIL-DTL-3965H
b. Brackets:
Visual examination
There shall be no evidence of harmful corrosion (as defined in
3.15), mechanical damage, or obliteration of marking.
3.20 Low temperature (storage). When tested as specified in 4.7.16, capacitors shall meet the following
requirements:
DC leakage
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Capacitance
Shall change not more than the percent specified (see 3.1) from
the initial measured value (see 3.10).
Dissipation factor
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
External examination
There shall be no evidence of leakage of electrolyte.
3.21 Stability at low and high temperatures. When tested as specified in 4.7.17, capacitors shall meet the following
requirements:
Step 1 (+25°C):
DC leakage
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Capacitance
Shall be within the applicable tolerance specified (see 3.1).
Dissipation factor
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Step 2 (-55°C):
Impedance
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Capacitance
Shall change not more than the percent specified (see 3.1)
from the step 1 measured value.
Step 3 (+25°C):
DC leakage
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Capacitance
Shall change not more than the percent specified (see 3.1)
from the step 1 measured value.
Dissipation factor
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Step 4 (+85°C):
DC leakage
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
Capacitance
Shall change not more than the percent specified (see 3.1)
from the step 1 measured value.
Dissipation factor
Shall not exceed the applicable value specified (see 3.1).
